Joint-Stock Company PROMCATALYS was created in 1999 on the basis of Ryazan catalyst plant.

The enterprise celebrated the 60th anniversary in business in 2019 and is mainly focused on the largescale production of catalysts for hydrotreating, reforming and isomerization of gasoline fractions.

The enterprise also manufactures the catalysts for petrochemical, chemical, nitrogen, gas processing and other industrial applications.

Business management system and product line were greatly affected by work under severe competition conditions.

During the period 2005-2009, an ISO 9001:2000 Compliant Quality Management System (QMS) and integrated QMS compliant with ISO 9001:2008 and OHSAS 18001:2007 standards were consistently implemented at the enterprise. Between the years of 2012 and 2018 the enterprise maintained a Compliant Quality Management System that corresponds to the international ISO 9001:2008 standard. In June of 2018, QMS of enterprise successfully passed recertification for compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standard.
